If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? YES!!!!!!
Gear that's been added Boom Vang, Boom Brake, Reolaced 1980 15 hp Everude long shaft with 2022 6hp Tohatsu Sail Pro 25 extra long shaft, solor panel and battery, replaced stock cushions with 1 inch thick yoga mats (better comfort and more head room), added 3 inch queen matress to expanded v-berth, transome mounted ladder with platform,
Structural or complex improvements Extended the v-berth and replaced missing floatation. Added gas lifts to pop top.
The boat's best features Shallow water operation, can be used on the hard as a camper. Solid molded fiberglass.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Original rudder/tiller is cumbersome to remove.
Sailing characterisitcs Slight weather helm, points up well.
Motoring characterisitcs Cuts right on through everything. The 15 hp that came with the boat was a huge overkill. New 6 hp moves the boat at hull speed at 1/4 throttle and has plenty of reserve power.
Liveability Overnight for two.(and a few kids)
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Yes, good, needed parts available.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
