Review of the Macgregor 24 by J. LittleBear

Owner bought the boat in 2006  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? No way.  
Gear that's been added My wife and I re-did the entire boat. We added a lifeline system, Plasdeck Synthetic teak deck (Best thing I ever did), Re-did all of the brightwork with Plasteak, Changed the vetilation for better interior air flow, redesigned the rudder, Re-glassed the keel, new sink, etc...etc..  
Structural or complex improvements bow pulpit, anchor locker...  
The boat's best features Swing keel, stable sailing  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.

Motoring characterisitcs  
Liveability a weekend for two at best, we like more space  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) They're great, sent me copies of the original owners manual and answered random questions.
