Review of the Macgregor 25 by Michael Cloke

Location of boat Lake Charlevoix  
The boat is sailed on The Great Lakes  
How the boat is used Weekends and longer  
Normal wind strength less than 10 knots  
Average size of crew 2-4  
Liveaboard? No  
Owner bought the boat in 2004  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes  
Gear that's been added Changing the seat cushions, Bulkhead Compass  
Structural or complex improvements Not yet, but will have too. Will have to reinforce the mast mount. Any Ideas? The bolt pull through the top.  
The boat's best features It justy looks good and it is fun to sail. I'm a beginer to sailing and I all ready love it.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The fiber glass top is weak, bolts have pulled through.  
Sailing characterisitcs Not sure yet.  
Motoring characterisitcs I'm looking for a good motor. Any Ideas about Tohatsu motors? 9.8 hp four stroke.  
Liveability Good  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Great, very helpful

Other comments It just looks like a great boat to sail.
