Gear that's been added I've recently acquired the boat and am in the process of replacing wood trim, cleaning, and going through everything before taking it to the lake. It has been in dry storage for a number of years and was trailered to Texas from Seattle by the original owner. The boat has newly upolstered interior cushions and fresh bottom and hull paint. The sails are original, but it good shape although somewhat billowed through the years. It also has a 7.5 hp 4 stroke Honda auxillary motor now at the shop for maintenance. The winch which raises the keel is jammed and needs either replacing or refurbishing. Is anyone out there who has some experience with winch replacement who would offer me some tips?
