The boat's best features I must say that I do not own a Mag Gregor 65. We went sailing on on while in Hawaii. If you have ever been to this area you know the winds are very strong. We were on a very large cat for some diving and on the way back the sailing was fast, but very wet. The cat was a nice platform for sailing and totally flat. We had the opportunity to sail on the 65 the next day in pretty much the same conditions. That boat was fast and we were dry!! I was very impressed with the performance and we put that boat through it's paces. A wonderful experience.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. In talking to the skipper he had no problems. The layout could be better in terms of space.
Sailing characterisitcs Fast and smooth. Always felt stable, even when pushed in the high winds.
Motoring characterisitcs We did not motor much, but it was smooth and quiet.
Liveability I like the high teck look and feel of the boat. It does not have a lot of room inside for a boat of this length.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
Other comments I had the opportunity to be on one of the two new 70 footers. The added space in the back was just wonderful for sorting the dingy or setting up a table to enjoy your meals. Very impressive boat all the way around.
