Gear that's been added	The package from Boats4Sail (Bill Beers) was excellent. Buying from him and getting his package very much facilitates sailing (in spite of having to drive to Wisconsin). There are enough things to learn the hard way, that setting up the boat with him and being able to do most things from the cockpit is helpful. It saved at lot of time in alterations and additions. I have also made a number of additions on my own. (GPS, RADIO, CD/stereo; extra anchor; bimini, 75hp outboard).
Structural or complex improvements	No
The boat's best features	It's mobility by trailer, it's speed under motor.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	Very few things have broken, mostly from wear and tear: spreader, forestay and shroud, from trailering and mooring the boat in choppy lake Michigan. I have been impressed by Bill Beers, who has every time helped me immensely in getting the damaged parts. He has sent every part needed.
Sailing characterisitcs	Enjoyable, but a bit slow when compared to keeled boats, naturally.

The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any	I bought my boat from Bill Beers from BOATS4SAIL in Wisconsin about 7 years ago. As mentioned above, I have been extremely impressed by Bill who has every time helped me immensely in getting boat parts that I needed. Often he has sent every part at no charge. He strikes me as a genuinely good human being who likes to help others. I could not give him a higher recommendation.
