The boat's best features
ability to power at resonable speeds and to anchor in very shallow waters
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
Everything works good but you have to be careful operting the mast raising winch, it has a lot of torque and if you snag a wire I would imagine it could result in some damage if you don't notice quickly or are winching to quickly. Take your time and always check out the wires every couple of clicks on the winch.

Sailing characterisitcs
The first sail was in 20 to 25km winds, tightened up the sails to see if I could dip the windows, it got close but held its own and actually wanted to round up into the wind. Surprised me coming from a trailer sailer that other sailors want to put down.

Motoring characterisitcs
Some say it is not a good power boat or sail boat, but I was impressed with the powering, ability to plane out at such low speeds 12 to 13 mph @ 3500 rpm, good gas saver. With a few people I found it necessary to fill balast to level the boat, keeping the bow down or I have to stand up to see. It handles the rough water of Georgian Bay quite well, but you might get a little wet without spray rails when the wind is from the side.

Liveability
If you use the storage compartments well, and keep the clutter down it feels a whole lot more open and relaxing. A couple weeks at a time would be no problem for 2 people who like each other.

Boats 4 Sail in Wisconsin was an easy going experience, very helpful and informative when rigging the boat with me, more like rigging the boat for me.
