The boat's best features	It is a power/sail boat that works as advertised.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	The trailor winch broke once. I sent an email to Bill at BOATS 4 SAIL and he had a new winch to me in two days. I didn't miss a day of sailing thanks to Bill.
Sailing characterisitcs	The 26M is a good boat to sail. It behaves and does what you ask it to.
Motoring characterisitcs	This is great and I believe MacGregor is the only real power/sail boat around today.
Liveability	I have not stayed overnight in it yet. I have owned two other sail boats and believe the 26M is as liveable as my other bigger sail boats.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	N/A. I dealt only with Bill at BOATS 4 SAIL in Wisconsin and had an excellant experience buying my boat.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any	As I have stated above I bought my 26M from Bill at BOATS 4 SAIL in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He had the best price for the boat and gave me 20% off all factory options. He helped me to rig the boat, at no charge, while explaining everything about it. His 26M-Pack and other BOATS 4 SAIL options included everything needed to properly sail single handed. Bill stands behind his sales with outstanding service. A phone call or email to Bill and any problems or questions are immediately handled by him. I traveled from Wichita, KS to BOATS 4 SAIL IN Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to buy from Bill and I am glad I did and would do it again.
