If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	Yes, is our first sailboat, Sails well, trailers well from lake to lake.
Gear that's been added	Teak shelves, cupboards inside, canvass pockets in cabin, head, and cockpit. Roller Furling, 150 Genoa, mast raising system, Backstay adjuster, extended life lines with pelican hooks, Bimini top, pop top enclosure, Honda 15 horse 4 stroke, breakaway rudder line, padded flooring in cabin and cockpit to ease the knees. 10w solar panel, hatch adjuster, single line reefing, etc.
Structural or complex improvements	None
The boat's best features	Sailing size, handles lake sailing perfectly. Ease of loading onto the trailer, Ive sailed circles around an M in low winds. Love the quiet Honda 4 stroke. Was worried about gas usage near end of Summer, it took less than 2 gallons in the 12 gallon tank!! Love the large storage aft.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	Moving up to an X to get the extra 2 room inside. More interior and cockpit space for overnighting.
Sailing characterisitcs	Can balance the main and genoa to not have any pressure on the rudder.
Motoring characterisitcs	Nice quiet and low cost.
Liveability	Getting too old for the Yoga needed for inside movement.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	Working with BWYachts is a delight. They are excellent in support and knowledge of the MacGregor.

Other comments	Take care of it like any other family member, and it doesnt depreciate. The biggest expense is keeping it at the marina, where we can leave the mast up while parking on the trailer.
