If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	Yes an excellent boat.
Gear that's been added	Not yet but plan to add a hinged mast step and a new rudder.
Structural or complex improvements	Added a mast raising system that I can do solo and redid some of the wiring.
The boat's best features	Sails well, handles well in rough water, great getting into shallow area and sailing in water with a lot of shoales. I also have a larger fixed keel boat that I sail on lake Ontario but the Venture is a definite pleasure in this type of water.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	Fiberglas around the cockpit area could be thicker - lot of crazing. Hull area around the chainplates could be reinforced mine has some cracks on one side,
Sailing characterisitcs	The winds are usually high comming out of the harbour and I ended up sailing in a severe squall. While its tender it did handle very well in the high winds - better than my fixed keel boat.
Motoring characterisitcs	I have a two stoke 4 hp Merc. Surisingly it pushes it fairly well even in rought water.
Liveability	I really like the quarter birth - wide and easy to get into. I don't like the v birth as the room between it and the upper deck is small.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	Poor service to non responsive when i contacted them by email. In person they seem more interested in selling their current line.

Other comments	A very good boat for my use. Cheap, sails well and is fairly fast.
