If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	As of right now, without a doubt. We wanted a sailboat, and after much reading, we decided a Mac was the one for us. Originally wanted a 26, but stumbled on a local 25 for the right price and jumped on it.
Gear that's been added	Planned improvements include hull and interior re-paint, re-cushioning, re-wiring and adding more battery capacity, on board charger, lights, VHF, AM/FM/CD, sonar, electric faucet and sink with 26.5 gal fresh water tank, gas grill, replacing side window plexi, replacing the OEM rudder, adding a kicker (probably 9.8 hp), and various other creature comfort improvements. She is missing some rigging that will have to be replaced.
Structural or complex improvements	We will be extending the v berth after removing the forward head closet wall and moving the potty underneath for easy access. I saw where another 25 owner did that and it looked great. Still can use the potty and have much more comfortable bed,
The boat's best features	Overall suitability for my needs; trailable, easy mast action, sturdy and well built, roomy for the size...have yet to put her in the water, but looking forward to it!
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	Need an integrated ladder on the trailer to gain access to the boat while trailered.
Sailing characterisitcs	None as yet...
Motoring characterisitcs	Pulls okay behind my SUV...
Liveability	I am positive it will be great for the extended weekend. My wife and I plan to use her for a getaway from the teenagers that infest our home...
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	Spoke to Mike once, seemed eager to get me off the phone...Would love to see more owner resources on their website, such as tech specs, rigging info, and that sort of stuff.

Other comments	I am expecting many good times on this boat. We will learn to sail with her, as neither of us have ever sailed before. We are looking forward to restoring her to excellent condition and spending lazy days on board.
