If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	Yes! What a great little boat to teach the family how to sail. Has a small cabin so the kids can get in out of the weather. Simple to sail, simple to rig, almost bullet proof against knock down (you would have to try to knock her over) and easy to maintain. I looked specifically for this boat when my wife said she would like to learn to sail.
Gear that's been added	Lazy Jacks. Storm Jib. 10 hp outboard (up from a 5 hp she came with). Topping lift. Battery charger.
Structural or complex improvements	No structural changes.
The boat's best features	Safety safety safety. Great boat to teach a family how to sail.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	Port-a-potti area is too small.
Sailing characterisitcs	Very stable platform. Single reef usually handles higher winds where we sail (mountain lakes in Washington State). Can develop heavy weather helm if you don't have mainsail that can be reefed. When we replaced original main with a new one, had it made with a reef point. Need to watch how much sail you have up to control the weather helm problem.
Motoring characterisitcs	Use engine as little as possible. Engine mounts on port side can be troublesome to control. Cockpit controls, fwd and revrs, and throttle would be great.
Liveability	It's not.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	Great people. Friendly and fast with answers and help.
