See Aft berth

The companionway ladder drops down to a large cabin, featuring this huge aft berth. Nice interior appointments like wood trim, gel coat, and lights promise a bright and comfortable boat.

See Galley

The galley was large and functional for a 26 footer. Storage, sink, and ice box.

See The new Macgregor 26M

Long awaited, fiercely rumored, and the first new boat design from Roger MacGregor in years, a 26M prototype was on display at Pacific Sail Expo last weekend. We climbed aboard with our camera to see what all the fuss was about.

See Porta Potti

A fully enclosed head with porta potti enables the boat to make longer passages.

See If 50 wasnt enough for you...

The 26M on display had a Johnson 70 EFI hanging off the transom. Is the extra 20hp necessary? Not according to dealer, although the new model is 300-400 lbs heavier than the X. But, we were told the 70 would push the boat up to 18 or 19 knots, not bad speed for a sailboat.

See V berth

A roomy V berth has an opening hatch for air and light, which also provides access to the anchor and foredeck.

See Pilot seats

The show prototype also sported a pair of very solid pilot seats. according to the delaer they are an aftermarket option... were searching for the manufacturer now. As you can see on the lft side, the M has a raised helm seat behind a small helm pod with wheel, instruments, and engine controls.
