New circuit breaker panel

posted 04-26-2010 by Doug91mac26s

I installed a new circuit breaker panel on the side of the overhead, above the galley. This is a good centrally located spot for the panel. You can see some of that blue flexible conduit, which runs to the v-berth battery compartment. I like circuit breakers as apposed to fuses. I added an analog 12 volt meter that is activated with a momentary push button switch, that will prevent any slow drain of the batteries. I relocated the dual battery switch to the head, just behind the batteries. Above the battery switch is a battery charger, that is hardwired to shore power, that red cord is actually gone now. That little white vent is there to provide ventilation for the batteries.
