This arrangement simplifies charging and use of batteries. A/B/Both/Neither switch is easy to get to, and the NOCO charger is versatile and simple to operate. Swings down for better access.

Swings up and secures with a simple bolt latch to keep it out of the way. Switch is still easy to reach in this configuration.

Plywood platform supports batteries, C-shaped gray bar is held in place with a wing nut and bolt that passes through wall into head compartment. Makes for easy removal. Not intended to be fully capsize proof, but addition of additional tubing over the top would work for that, I would imagine.
