Didnt see anything about a modification like this on the site so thought some might be interested.

I have cleaned out a kitchen/sink assembly that was on the port side and extended the vberth profile to the wall of the galley seating. I will have a porta potty bucket we keep kitty litter at the bulkhead near the original vberth bulkhead.

I am also adding a new small stainless sink with electric pump on the port side behind the new wall/bulkhead seen on the port side of this photos.

Support frame for bow section of extension. hand planed 2x4 pre-drilled and bolted through to fiberglass with 1/4 bolts and extra large washers to distribute load.

Aft extension support 2x4 on the right goes right accross to the port side. 2x3s are hand planed and notched into the Fore and Aft 2x4s approx 1 1/4 to support extended berth planks.

Note that some of the 2x3s will not be screwed to the fore/aft supports to allow removal for access to storage below.
