The owner bought this boat in 2014
General condition and any additional information
Great opportunity to buy a classic and take it from where we left off. Looking at listings for Whitbys, restored can be up to $200,000 in value. The woodwork is incredible. It also has been dry docked for 10 years and covered. Anyone looking for an opportunity to have a live aboard sail boat and have a dream come true, shes a beauty that you will love for years. We have decided to follow another dream and we are looking to sell her quick. Could easily launch her this year with some immediate elbow grease.
Many updates on this 42 Whitby Ketch We purchased dry docked with the intention to finish the restoration and launch her this year. We have decided to move out of Traverse City and pursue another dream. She is beautiful and very impressive. The previous owner invested over 80,000 in updates. Newer sails, dodger, 2 heads, 2 cabins, custom teak throughout, restored rutter. My husband will go through everything about this boat. He is a licensed USCG captain and very mechanically inclined.
Extra gear included
All sails and equipment, sails were hardly used. Dodger.
Improvements to the hull, deck, rigging, engine, or interior
