Samphires shoal draft makes her ideal for exploring rivers and creeks whilst her heavy displacement keel proves perfect for offshore sailing. She has made frequent trips to the Ten Thousand Islands and the Keys. The many improvements need to be seen to appreciate and hopefully her next owner will get a much pleasure as us.

Displacement 7000 lbs with 3,200 lbs ballast.
Furling Head sail with jib sheets leading to cockpit winches and reefing line leading to the cockpit.
The mainsail halyard leads to a cabin top winch with Jiffy reefing, Lazy Jacks, Topping Lift and boom vang.
The mainsail is controlled by twin main sheets giving infinite control without the need of a traveller.
A 25 lbs CQR anchor with 35 chain and 180 of rode is stowed on a bow roller and a separate Danforth kedge anchor with chain and rode is also provided.
Roof hatches, handrails and the main sail are protected by green canvas covers.
The cockpit is provided with a Bimini, Dodger and Joiner together with side and rear detachable screens as well as side dodgers with the boat name on them and storage pockets for jib sheets etc.
The steering pedestal incorporates compass, speed log and depth meter with cup and GPS holders together with a cockpit table. All protected with a green canvas cover. The cockpit seats are provided with three white pvc cushions.
Samphire has a standard interior layout with vee berth forward, vanity to port with pumped water and a Jabsco toilet opposite which discharges into a 36 gallon holding tank under the vee berth. A diverter valve allows pump out from deck or overboard via a macerator and sea cock.
The main cabin has two full length settee berths with storage under and side shelves/cupboards above, The freshwater tank and pump is located below the port berth and a fold down table is to Stbd.
Behind the port berth is the chart table with VHF radio above and cupboard with three way battery isolator and fuse panel. Behind this is a full length quarter berth with two 12 volt 27d batteries below.
To starboard there is a two burner alcohol stove with cupboard below, sink with pumped freshwater and drawers below. A deep cold box is fitted in the rear corner. and steps leading up to the cockpit with access to the engine.

A Garmin GPSmap 182 C color GPS along with fenders, mooring lines, and all other ancillary on board items are include with the option to purchase a 12 volt DC/110 Volt AC Dometic refrigerator if required.
Improvements to the hull, deck, rigging, engine, or interior
A Yanmar 2 cylinder 2GM 16 HP diesel engine provides adequate power and is a huge improvement over the original single cylinder unit fitted to most boats of this size.
A newer VHF radio with remote cockpit mic attached to the steering pedestal is included.
A solar panel with changeover switches helps maintain the two batteries.
The twin main sheet arrangement gives infinite control allowing the boom to be set in any position.
A cross bed modification provides for a full size double bed to be erected with the use of two infill mattresses.
